Wales is a beautiful country and the mountains in Snowdonia provide a dramatic landscape of snow covered peaks interspersed with rolling vales and grazing sheep. We hiked part of the way up Mt. Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, on Sunday.

Wales is home to many incredible castles, claiming the densest castle concentration of anywhere in Europe. This is due to the fierce resistance the Welsh presented to the Anglo-Saxon invaders. That means “Welcome to Wales” in Welsh.  We just returned from a long weekend in Wales.
