Today we made it 5.7 miles from route 202 to route 141 in Holyoke. It was another beautiful day, with some gorgeous views, especially from the basalt cliffs overlooking Westfield.

We’ve just started hiking the Metacomet-Monadnock trail, a 114 mile hike beginning at the Connecticut-Massachusetts border, winding through the hills of western Massachusetts, culminating at the top of Mt.
