The cold, windy weather finally cleared off today. My arms are still sore from an enjoyable morning spent climbing at the Nottingham Climbing Centre. Mostly though, I’ve been obsessively re-reading the Harry Potter series. I’m most of the way through the 4,224 pages that chronicle the adventures of the young wizard and his friends. It’s been a little hard to focus on anything else recently. At least I managed to find a sunny spot to read this afternoon. I’m loving it, but I’m also ready to be finished so I can get on with the rest of my life.

These folks also enjoyed the beautiful weather. Here are their summer term outfits for school. It’s starting to stay light until fairly late and tonight they brought their dolls out to enjoy the last rays before sunset.

I’m glad that you had a warm, sunny day–just like we’ve been having in New England! I finished reading about Gertrude Bell today and started in on John Adams! I can’t quite imagine reading over 4,000 pages, however! Wow!
Great to see the girls outside, and in their uniforms! That’s just what they said they were going to do when we finished talking tonight! Love to you all, Grana
