I found some videos of my capoeira instructor, Mascote, on youtube. He’s quite talented! I’ve really been enjoying capoeira recently. It’s a great combination of fun and challenge. I’ve been asking my body to do all sorts of things that I might suspect would be impossible.

I love watching the fluid dance of Capoeira…combined with the music it makes my feet want to move! How long have you been doing it for?

Hi Andy–That was great! I’m glad you are having a chance to do this! I’ve started yoga after school with a parent of a child I had last year as the instructor. We found 10 teachers (actually more) who were interested to fill the class, and had our first meeting last week. It was fun too, but much gentler than your exercise! Wow! Love, Dana

It’s been about four months since I started Capoeira, but classes weren’t held for almost a month from mid-December to early January – just long enough for the nascent calluses on my feet to soften. I love it!
