It has been really windy here. There was a brief hale storm yesterday afternoon. But last night it was blowing so hard that the breeze through the door downstairs was whistling loud enough to wake us up. I managed to silence it by plugging the hole with a piece of tape. I guess being drafty is part and parcel of the charming character of old barn conversions.
The gale died down a bit during the day today and the kids spent some nice time playing outside with our neighbor. We brought apples over to feed the horses. They seemed to appreciate the food and company.

The last rays of the setting sun were incandescent behind the old Dovecote.

Hi again..thanks for stopping by our blogs! We are planning a trip to Scotland probably in June…will have about a week in Shetland and a week or so on the mainland…would be lovely to meet up…I’ll let you know when I have dates booked.
