Our gardens are pretty minimal this year , but things are coming along nicely at Susan’s house. She planted the peas and found some wooden lattice for them to climb on. I planted spinach and swiss chard between the peas.
There are two types of kale and pac choi in another bed. The kids love the kale with ume plum vinegar on it. They’ll eat as much as I cook. Ume plum vinegar, I understand, is the remnants of Japanese style pickled plums. Its sweet and salty at the same time. Yumm!
